 This is taken somewhere on the Skagit River right at sunset. Used a longer exposure trying to smooth the water a bit as well as get some darkness out of the trees in the foreground. I have been to this spot before but have never had the opportunity to shoot here at sunset. When I shot this, it was one of the most peaceful places, cold, but peaceful all the same. Not a soul around even though it is close to the road. I am so fortunate to live in such a beautiful area. The Mountain in the distance is Baker. It is a very prominent feature in the Northern Puget Sound area and my mom always thought it looked like an ice cream cone with a bite taken out of it.

Too bad only basic editing allowed here, I bet an HDR merge of two exposures here would have been amazing
