Well deserved Ribbon. This is really a striking B&W conversion actually one of the great B&W shots on this site.

One has to ask who are the four dickheads who voted this a 1 or 2 ???

Can we have a witch-hunt to establish who gave this shot a score of 1,2 or 4? I don't understand how people can't be more objective. A great photograph and deserved ribbon winner!

Congrats on the red!! Did you convert a 5D to be an IR camera or was the effect achieved post processing?

Love the IR BW conversion Oliver. Congrats!

edited a second time to remove the IR reference which I inserted during my first edit. ;P Should have gone with my gut.

Perfect fit for the challenge, love the different lines leading me into the image, and a beautiful black and white conversion. 10

A beautiful IR photo. I like how my eyes move along both the highway and the roadway in front of me. I am a little divided though on which one to look at though, maybe you should consider what you want the viewer to be looking at.

Great lines and super sky -- nicely converted to B&W. I love the contrast between the rural farm path and the high tech bridge. Well done.

Seems like I saw this one already. Interesting clouds. The tire tracks lead my eye to the bridge which then leads my eye off the photo. I'm keep jumping back and forth trying to figure out what the subject is.

The more I look at it the more I like the lighting

Great B&W, I love the feel of depth I get when looking at this photo, Great positioning of the entry point and the ending point on the highway. I also like the fact that you have 2 sets of leading lines in your photo. Great tones and contrasts help to make this a powerful image. Should do well.
