the vertical lines in the water and that of the photog work nicely together
i think it would make it a better story had he not been taking a picture - it would have given me more to think about why he was there |

| Nice capture and think I would prefer this shot over a still water with less jaggy reflections ;) The addition of a person helps this image and he nicely fills the gap in the reflections :) Think this would have done well in the challenge. |

| The reflections are certainly nice here, but my eye is drawn to the other photographer. I always wonder if they are from DPC or what they are trying to shoot. I like how he parallels the dark vertical reflections. |

| Viewing the viewer and his / her point of focus is always interesting, you teach me. The interest in the intimate view most often makes up for accidental lack of quality in an image (due perhaps to hand held, under - or over exposed photos). |

Sooooo you must have gotten something truly spectacular in the reflections challenge if you posted this one here. This is awesome.
Could be that he was shooting for the reflections challenge too -- but more likely -- like you, he just recognized a stunning scene and snagged it too :) But I like yours better because the human element for me always adds interest.
