I'm on the verge of chickening out because of that big person on the left. Wish it were just the girl and her dog. But here I go entering, ... wheeee!

I like the person on the left, it adds more interest to the photo. I also think the girl and the dog wouldn't have taken up enough verticle space to balance the birch trees. I also love how you captured the scene in such a way that it looks like an old painting - if I didn't know better, I would have thought you put a filter on it.

Almost like a painting. Excellent. It's nice to see someone trying something a little more artistic rather than technical (although it appears technically excellent). Print this - it deserves a place on your wall. Well done 10.

Nice concept. Wish the woman in red were placed separately or else not in, but .. what can you do.

My vote for best in challenge. Love the splash of color and the impressionistic painting feeling. Having a beautiful entry that does not resort to the typical display of symmetry between the objects and their reflection helps make this a refreshing and very enjoyable image.

great eye for color and composition - just the right amount of "wiggle" to create a unique image with the sense of the original -- one of my ribbon picks
