| I find myself wanting to see a closer crop on this one, without the empty space on the right, but this is an unusually affecting treatment of a bug - hard to make bugs sympathetic. :) I like how there's almost like a little spotlight on him. |

| Very nice job focusing the attention on the beetle, compared to the original. Darkening it considerably worked very well. |

Interesting textures and balance. I do wonder how it would look
if you zeroed in on the bug quite a bit. Better? or just different?

| i love small insects to photograph, their intricate bodies never cease to amaze me .. this is brilliant .. the overlay works really well and it seems to have created a sort'v secretive feeling .. its either you or the bug .. i'm not sure .. but someone's hiding from someone else ... usually its the bugs that camouflage themselves, but when you bring a photographer into the mix, well, its often he's the one who's hiding .. !!:) |
