Excellent title, it really helps me see your vision. Once again your image is very engaging a tribute to your talent and perseverance to your craft.

Excellent. I find myself saying that a lot about your work. So much life here (but yes, the dog is the key).

Love the dog in this shot! this looks like a fun get together. Your b&w's are always so rich in tonal range, well done!

After reading all of the other comments, I don't know what else to add. Looking at this photo before reading the comments I thought that these people were so caught up in their conversations, they didn't even know that you were aiming a camera at them. I'd love to be eavsdropping on those conversations. What is the guy in the upper left describing...what is the girl saying to the guys that must be very amusing. Besides being an interesting photo, the b/w conversion is good, and the square crop works well.

Great candid shot. Everyone seems to be so engaged except the girl who seems a bit bored or maybe engaged looking at the dog. I can almost hear the voices. Perfect amount of contrast.

You teach me that it is possible to find the personal and intimate even in a small crowd of people. One does not have to limit the frame to a single person to do so.

This is a really nice group candid. I just realized that I spent quite a bit of time looking around at everything, and that's the sign of a job well done.

I LOVE this shot! I like how everyone in it has extreme character, even the dog. hah Excellent b/w. If this were in color you wouldn't see all what was going on because the color would take away from it. Can't wait to see more candid from you.

Fantastic shot & it looks great in B&W. Love the clarity, contrast & detail - and the story in all the people's expressions

Happy, delightful and so full of rhythm, and hey, Rover too. (How often do you get 6 humans and 1 dog with such animated expressions!) I get/see the picture and not the photography.

Have been looking at this for a few minutes now and its weird, it looks posed to me although I'm sure its a candid. Am wondering what all the conversations are about and what the dog seems to have spotted.

Great exposure, good composition, Lovely shot :)

a community of friends is a wonderful thing to capture and the joy in companionship is so well displayed here -

on a technical side - the choice of higher contrast to display the people works so well here - they seem more real than real

Very natural shot, nobody seems aware of you. This is so crisp and clear and the B&W conversion is spot on. Just noticed you have used your macro lens for this. I think that explains some of the crispness. Love it.

Interesting group of people, dog is great [dogs are always great, but that is a topic for another day], horizontal lines of the seating give this nice structure

Loveley candit.. I think the b&w helps to concentrate in the interaction between the characters, the face, expression and body removing the distractoin of color. Well done.

Lisa, your photographs are always joyous and full of life - you see the moment better than a lot of people here do. I suspect that's because you are a joyous person and full of life yourself. At least that's what your photography tells me. This is a wonderful shot - I especially like the pose of the dog for some reason. And while I've no doubt it's a good shot in color, by converting it to B&W, you've distilled it to its essence - friendship and fun, people just being people (and one dog just being a dog.)
