Is that shadow your husband? Mega cool. Why don't you join into The January Portrait Side Challenge.

Very cool, and very effective in b&w, as it distills everything down into these appealing blocks of dark and light, progressing on a slight diagnonal through the frame.

Are you a magnum photographer?
The tones are perfect, and the tilt which brings the laying head level is amazing. I can say much more that this is one of the best photos ive seen in a while

Interesting Puzzle! I found em!

I think I'd prefer it cropped a little on the left.

Clever, it took me a couple seconds to find the third person. I like how this seems to break all the rules about composition and yet works so well.

To place a subject in a certain context and to give a spark of excitement to that context without overawing the subject is what I am learning here. It comes together to enhance all parts of the image.

Love the overall high contrast with its strong lines and the great portrait of your daughter with a good range of tones. Well done!

very interesting - the contrast of black and white space and the girl's pose give this photo a sense of mystery. I'm left wondering where we are/what is going on.

A stark image, black and white in the extreme lol and not your normal family photograph!

Very creative shot if just a little too dark for me (and my monitor). You have some great B&W work in your profile Lisa and a fresh outlook on photography imho ;)

Great light, great angle, great Where's Waldo kinda thing going on. Definitely not your average family portrait - indeed, way better!

I like the lighting and how your daughter fades into the shadows. I am guessing your husband is the shadow on the wall? Neat capture.

Great lighting and contrast, the reflections really add to the shot. Well done on the perspective as it adds a dynamic to the shot.

I am trying to find your son.. I love this! Looks nice and comfy there in the sun. She looks like a little model laying there and the contrast is perfect. Draws your eyes through the whole picture.

The perspective is fantastic! This photo has everything... from leading line, silhouettes, portrait, blidning light and deep shadows. All very well combined in a pleasing image.
