Stunning colors and composition. I like this one a lot.

This photo doesn't really work for me personally, but I gave it a 7 during voting because it is well composed, technically good and creative. Actually I love the effect from the horizon up (just considering the trees), it was the buildings and tree on the bottom that made me dizzy. Great tones and colors too.

Oh the things I miss when I lack the time to vote on images.. Your capture of the last strands of sunset pouring over the horizon is amazing.

Amazing effect and a very interesting perspective on a sunset! The whole of the world reaches up to the grandeur that is the sky, knowing full well they can never touch it, but to not try is unthinkable.

Surprised this only did a 5.8, but freestudies are really hard on scoring. This is great. I love the effect.

Stunning. You've captured the ether; are the gods aware? They're not going to be very happy, you know. First you capture fire, over and over again; then beauty is captured of you by firelight; and, then this: the ephemeral, caught, trapped, allowing those of us who are unable to see it with our souls to see it with our eyes. Yes, I might be drawn deeper in if the tree on top was dark black, pure shadow against the soft skeins of color in the 'tweens, but it is quite lovely as is.

Wow! Jelena this is beautiful! The colours are gorgeous and the zoom is very clever. I don't know why it didn't score higher, sometimes I just don't understand. :(

I was scratching my head trying to work out what you did here - the zoom works very well and the colours are gorgeous. The lack of a single main subject has probably lost you marks, but I prefer the overall effect!

I love it, Jelena. The more I look at it, I want to look at it more. I wish this had made it to your top row. The colors are spectacular.

Very nice effect and very ingenious. I was one of yor 8's in the challenge. Though it was well done.

Usually zoom effects like this are really noticeable, this one is subtle - I admit I missed it when I first saw it. I gave this a 6, which for me means average-but-with-great-promise - if I had gone back to review my votes like I meant to, this one may have gotten a bump. This is really quite a lovely shot!

I didn't get to finish voting so I am glad I am seeing this now. It's gorgeous! I love the different color shades of the sky. I love that the tree is arching over to fill the top of the frame. And the streaks of light are very cool. Great catch!

What a truly amazing capture. Sad that this pov wasn't more widely applauded.

I think as far as an improvement goes that perhaps the tree could have had a bit more burning (or selective colour black).

Nice camera trick (looks like you zoomed in/out during the exposure).

Nice zoom effect. Framing from the tree works very well.

ETA: My score for this image was a 7.
