This is the Hunter Museum of Art in Chattanooga. It has a beautiful glass walkway leading to it which is lit at night.

Wow, that is a very interesting composition! I love the strong leading lines drawing you into the building. It is so hard to emphasize architecture in a broad since (at least for me!), but the inclusion of the walkway and the brightly lit building works so well. Your eye just takes it all in without any distractions. If there were one thing I would try differently it would be darkening the sky to emphasize the building even more....

Excellent job! A great example of how B&W can look so good. Great job on the exposure & composition.

So much to take in! The BW is so clear. Perspective, drama, man-made wonders in the night.

Very nice photo! Exposure for the the walkway is perfect. Are those clouds in the sky?

What a cool walkway, nice job capturing the lighting. I like the compositon that you used for this but I wonder if you cropped the sky a bit closer to the museum if it would put more focus on the walkway.

The leading lines are perfect. The Museum really pops against the darker tones of its surroundings.

Love the intersecting lines! Keeping the detail in the stone building w/out blowing out the highlights in this image is awesome! Excellent!

Nice leading lines, a very nice B&W conversion. I think you got a very good amount of light and doesn't appear to be blown at all for 13sec. Nice night shot.

This is reality mixed with fantasy; the reality of the street below, street lamps glowing to push away the stark darkness of the night, while above the ground we walk to the ephemeral, to art and beauty and grace, both outside the building and within. Lovely.

Something and nothing are what I think about when viewing your photo. The detail in the lit building is something; the building on the left is nothing, unrevealed by windows or light. The pathway into the photo is also a tool you teach me about herein.

Nice work and the contrast is just right for this type of shot imho. Lots of places you could have tripped up over with the exposure but you nailed it foe me. It might be my eyes but the walkway doesn't look totally level and seems to tip to the right a touch.

This is gorgeous! I love the perspective of the lit diagonal walkway leading to the very pretty illuminated building. Wonderful composition!

Great perspective. I like the light and contrast. Perhaps the left side (down hill) should be darker, it makes this photo so busy.

Everything seems to fit well together: the leading lines and illumination of the walkway, the lighted building off to the right, the spurrious lights accenting the other parts of the photo. Nice work.

Very cool high contrast diagonal lines. The blown out sections of light really add some wonderful repeating shapes to the image, giving it an extra boost.

Beautifully done. B&W and available light at night are two of my favorite themes. You've combined them well here. My first reaction was that the light on the museum was a bit blown but you did a great job balancing everything and I know how hard that is to do. Kudos.

Wow! You must have something really cool for the architecture challenge. . .oh but wait. . you took this at a GTG so maybe the dates don't work. How PRETTY!!! And you nailed the exposure. Not a blown light in the photo! Bravo to you!

Is that seriously a walk way that is lit up? Very cool leading to a huge mansion.
