 Thanks for all the comments and votes on this picture. Yes, this arch is located in Arches N.P. near Moab, my favorite place in the world. I am out West on a 3 week work trip and was luckily enough to make a weekend get away to Southern Utah with 21.gif Nald. We were taking pictures in Capitol Reef when I asked him what the challenge was, it was time to go to Moab. I'm finally going home on Sunday to hang my new ribbon, thanks so much.

omg I think I've been there. We went to this whole Arch National Park when I was in Moab with my dad's best friend and hiked up this slab of rock in the beating sun... so cool to see the place again!

Nice view, nice natural frame, and I like the color tones and lighting (you've not tried to overprocess it). You did a good job of giving your composition some thought by off-centering the framed part of this image. Well done. Good luck!

Absolutely beautiful! Most Canyonlands shots I see are way too saturated for my taste, but you've found an appealing balance with this one. I also like the extra texture added by the light snow.
