Blimey Roz....Sorry it has taken me so long to comment on this photo (I have been working away) but let me say congratulations!!!! Not on the fact that you got your second highest score, or on the fact that you got your first ever blue ribbon - these are great in themselves - but my congratulations are for the fact that you have produced a picture of such jaw dropping brilliance that it could be shown anywhere in the world and alongside the work of any photographer in the world and it would not look out of place
Stunning.....simply stunning and it could not have happened to a nicer person |

They say that dragonflies are good luck - well this one really was... though luck had not much to do with it. You are such an exceptional photographer and this ribbon is a tribute to that!

| Wow, fantastic shots! Did you find that using a 100mm macro enabled you to take the shot versus something with a shorter focal length? I have a 60mm macro for my XT and I find that insects tend to skit away when I attempt to photograph them. Handheld or tripod? |
