i finally decided to look at your portfolio. Love this image. :) i dont care about the splotches or how light her skin is. the pale or light color of skin is fantastic! i think that it adds a lot to the shot. i think that her lips and skin tone make a wonderful contrast. I like the empty space to the left. over all i think you should have gotten a ribbon, but i suppose getting 4th isnt too bad either.
Fantastic job over all! (maybe if another self portrait challenge comes up we can go head to head.) |

| i shouldnt have voted this a 5, this is great. allthough thinking back i think i did because they were sunglasses and not 'glasses/specticals' |

| This is a gorgeous shot but one thing that bugs me is her nose looks flat. Maybe shade her nose a little bit more to give it depth. |

I'm going back and forth with which picture I like best, the one you chose, or the outtake.
I'm torn.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that I absolutely ADORE what you have going on in this picture, and she reminds me of Anne Hathaway. Particularly in this picture:

| I really like the contrast and limited color palette. This is one of my favorites. It looks like a magazine ad. I like that the girl looks like she's headed off the frame and her hair is turning... shows lots of movement, yet her face is serious and looking straight on. Nicely done! |
