Way cool, is time lapse to me--what else can a fish produce in such a small space. Very artistic.

Beautiful, beautiful shot....in my humble opinion it is definitely a time laps shot. Besides that it is really artistic!

Too bad you got hung up on the "rules". This is a gorgeous shot.

I gave you a 7. It's a gorgeous shot. I hope my comment helped ease the pain. :)

I gave you a 10, shame about the DQ, but its still a interesting and very original image.

Yep, me too. I scored it a 10.

Sorry about your DQ - I am suprised, to say the least. For what it is worth, I thought it an excellent take on the challenge, and an interesting photograph in its own right.

I love this idea of capturing the fish in different positions. I liked how you used some opaque layers to help convey the sense of motion.

Great lighting. The prominent gold fish position works perfect for this shot.

GeneralE: that's definitely not a single motion.

karmat: it represents the single motion of the Gaiasphere, the delicate yet supreme circle of life.

GeneralE: we need to deal with reality here, not symbols.

karmat: do not underestimate the power of symbols.

muckpond: (enlightenbulb goes off) Whoa! I see it now! It's about global warming!

ursula: well, that's certainly not natural.

Really love this shot, the colours, and the amount of copies of goldfish you have managed to put in such a small bowl... effective background :)

Nice creative perspective for this challenge, nicely done.

Clearly not sequential in the sense of being able to tell where the fish was first, last or in between, but a very nice conglomeration of images that is fun to look at. Don't really like the bright light (reflection?) at the top right, but overall this is really nice.

definetly gives it a unique look. I am assuming that there is only one original fish.

awesome

Would have been cooler if you could have done this without the transparency in the fish, but do I like the fishbowl view.

Very interesting. Nice and sharp. Looks like the bowl is either scratched or oversharpened as to bring out artifacts.

Bit of an art work, really. You've had to choose all sorts of opacities and overlaps. I keep thinking (only while looking at the picture, mind - it hasn't got to me that bad), that if there was something to which this could be applied it could be a seriously powerful image.

Thought about doing something very similar myself. Lovely colours and non-distracting background, although a bit of a glow around the outside of the bowl - can't be helped I suppose

Hah, no arguing about natural motion when all motion is confined to a tiny little globe I guess! Cool in an abstract sort of way. Might have cropped off as much of the top of the globe as you did on the bottom to preserve the symmetry that is present throughout the rest of the frame.

Great shot! It does however look like you moved the bowl during the different shots which is not allowed, but I will leave that up to the SC. 8 from me.
