processing involved combining two different photographs of the calves, one i flipped horizontally ..a bit'v lucisart mainly to lighten and give a bit of contrast .. levels to give a bit more contrast .. a faint yellowy vignette ..
increased the canvas size 10% approx in height and rescaled image .. the calves are a bit leaner than they are in real life .. !!
i created new shadows under the rhs calves ..
they are looking at katee who is just out'v the shot ..

this is another process of the calves with a different photograph ..

Very cool shot. Only thing I'd like to see is a cow really right up in my face (off to a side or so).

What a unique idea. I figured you were straddling the fence until I read your comments. You have a great eye.

This is so awesome! i love cows, and I'm so jealous that you have them. I want a cow to love. :) OH and I never would have known it was 2 photos if you didn't say so. It's perfectly done.

More brilliance - love it!!! These calves are a kick and the processing is amazing, as always. I love how you used Katee as a decoy to get the calves attention. LOLOL!!!

Another great one. Glad to see you're still having fun playing away. Don't encourage me ... you know I love the playing!
I really like the tree action in the shot.

You are a PP wiz! I was wondering what the calves were looking at..should have remembered your cute little dog! I wish I had as much fun with my images as you seem to have!

Happy New Year...one day late to you folks downunder though!!

This is a fun pic. Too bad it isn't that easy to double the size of your herd. You are getting to be a PS wizard, and the last year has seen your skills grow rapidly.

Looks like the two in the back left are gossiping :-) Some of your fake shadows look a bit too angled in comparison to the natural ones, but I bet I wouldn't have noticed that if you hadn't told me you faked them.

I knew this was your work- they are so endearing and your wonderful processing does them justice !
