photograph taken this morning when i went for a walk on the firetrail .. the paddock the calves are in is beside the firetrail .. the other side of the firetrail is natural bushland ..

the calves are looking at katee who is just out'v shot to the left ..

couple of ppl asked how i processed this ..
pretty basic process for me ..
lucisart ... of course !!
a bit'v colour balance ..
brightness & contrast blending mode lighter colour
flatten and rescale 10% higher .. (i like to do that coz it looks bigger in dpc!!)
ninja except on eyes and hooves etc ..
smart sharpen ..

this is another process with a couple of different photographs taken at the same time ..

Great capture. I like the progression from left to right between the calves. One couldn't ask for a better selection of poses.

Love the shot Roz. Do I spot some LucisArt going on here? If so I may pump you for knowledge. I just got it for my holiday gift.
I love the sky and the cows are always a treat for me too. It takes me back to my early childhood and visiting the grandparents and playing with the cows.
Nice start to the new year.

The sky and the DOF in this shot are just great! The calves look like they are used to seeing you walking the trail. I like the way the center calf is framed completely by the surrounding objects too. This is a very good example for "where you live."
Happy new year to you, and it's good to see you in this side challenge my friend. : )

Happy New Year - looking forward to journeying through January with you. Hope it's not as hot up there as it has been here - SMILE!
