 I submitted two images for two challenges now at the same time taken of the same waterfall. They don't look much alike, the other one is black and white and horizontal so there are two different angles of this motive in two challenges... The other challenge is the December free study challenge.

Some people think the snow on the stone in the foreground is burnt out but this is just white snow with not much detail and I lightened the image as much as I could without going too far with this snow on the stone. It's just bright and as it's basic editing rule the outcome is better for the whole I think. Thanks a lot for your comments. :-)

I really didn't think this image would do better than the other image that I submitted of this waterfall for the december Free Study challenge, I find that one a little bit better myself.

Not bad, perhaps a faster shutter would have brought out more of the detail. It's a little soft in my opinion, the foreground snow mound is burned out. Perhaps a different angle would have worked better.
