| Nice detail in the flower – the leaves in the background are a bit distracting – maybe shallower DOF would have worked better. |

| Technically very good. Nice DOF, focus, exposure, color. It might work better if the rose pointed into the frame instead of out the side. This way looks a bit awkward. |

| Nice rose image. For me, had the lower left foreground been darker like the upper right corner, I would have scored it higher. I think if it were darker, the colors of the rose would pop even better. |
