i love the use of fisheye here but feel that the composition isn't very 'stable'. Needs a focal point imo

Something looks a little fishey! Nice use of the wide angle.

I love the depth of this photo. I'm terrified of heights and cannot imagine standing on one of those either to evacuate the building or to take the shot!

The fisheye effect is kinda disturbing to the eye. Would have been better I think if it were more 'normal'. Great shot though! (7)

Just the most deliciously gritty photo in this challenge!

NIce wide angle shot. Interesting subject that draws you in.

Hidden along the back of these buildings, the fire escapes make an interesting pattern of repeating metal lines. You captured the feeling of height well enough to make me feel a little dizzy.

Nice perspective . I can "feel" the height, good job.

Very cool. I think that I would have liked it better had you made it a black and white, that bit of brown at the top corner is a little distracting.

That's mind-bending... and also a reminder as to why I couldn't ever live in NYC. Good job at conveying (intentionally or unintentionally) the closeness of it all.

Excessive fisheye views usually don't work for me, but it does well on this. It enhances the depth of the concrete canyon. How far did you hang out of the window to shoot this?

This is a nice perspective, but the lense distortion is distracting.

Great job on showing part of the city that few see. Meets the challenge well in my opinion.

That certainly is one of the best ideas for this topic from an NYC point of view.

Fantastic perspective on this image and a real gem for the challenge. Perhaps could have done with a little more contrast to give it a touch more pop, but still an excellent shot

This has incredible perspective. The brown is really distracting though. I wish you would have completed the desaturation and boosted the contrast between white and black.

With a true black and white version I would say this is up there with many other New York classics. ...if only it were a true black and white, heh.

A very back street or alley look. I think the bland colours suit this shot well.
