I gave it a 10 because of the expressive, lively, calligraphic quality that is fascinating, especially for the way the white ducks are turned into negative space. Wow. The busy, alert, bright-eyed nature of ducks is beautifully captured. IMO, the more often we use the camera to capture the way we feel about our world, the better.

Of course it was no surprise that this didn't do well. However, during voting, I really liked it. Technically - well - whatever. But it has a raw, crazy feel to it. Thanks for entering it.

Everyday, yes. Beautiful? Well, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Sorry, I don't find the overexposed blurry photo beautiful. Hopefully there are people out there who do.

Highlights are way too blown here. Much of the photo is lost.

I sometimes hate myself for being too honest, but this is too bright ( over exposed) and blurred from camera shake. Showing movement of the ducks would be great, but with a slow shutter and on a tripod. Sorry .

Could use better focus.

Great idea, though the whites are a little too blown out for me... they hurt my eyes a little lol

Sorry, I don't care for it. It looks like an effort to save a blurry shot. On the other hand, that imperfection may make it fit the definition of Wabi-Sabi by it's very nature. Oh, the drama...

I've looked at this image for a long time trying to work out if I like it or not. The duck on the right keeps catching my eye, is he the spectator? Or am I? There's a lovely sense of busyness and movement to the image, but in the end the burnt out (white) areas hurt it too much. Thanks for producing an image that made me stop and think :)

Is there some part of this in focus and not over exposed that we're supposed to see?

I'm not sure what the goal was here. I would watch the exposure control and use a faster shutter speed.

Would have been awesome if one of them had been in focus...

Ummm...trying to see something positive here and it's not working.

The lower left duck does look kinda cool, but the burned out ducks just make for a visual jumble.
