Put a shiny black wig on (my hair is naturally short & red!), added a ribbon, and dropped my shirt. I had many shots that were more "glamorous" and complimentary but this one had a real emotive feel to it...reminded me of that famous 1962 Bette Davis Movie...you know the one!!

The plot: In a decaying Hollywood mansion, Jane Hudson, a former child star, and her sister Blanche, a movie queen forced into retirement after a crippling accident, live in virtual isolation.

Beautiful accuracy to a "star photo" - very good. I have seen 16x20 lithos from late 40's & 50's w/linen texture for this kind of a studio publicity image. A good condition original is quite expensive. This is a fun image, & I think good work recreating this style. The star's large and expressive signature is usually evident.

With the texture effects it makes this photo feel like it really was taken in '62. Your face is a little too bright for me but I like your expression.

Honestly you didn't need texture. Beautiful big eyes, colors are very nice. Composition awesome... I am not going to limit my voting for texture, but it my opinion, you didn't need it at all :/ Good job overall :)

Really great pose and expression. I think the lighting works nice, and your editing sets you apart from the rest. Nice work.

well processed to get the old film glam feel. I don't think texture thing helps, I would have preferred it with maybe some soft focus.

Hope the texture effect doesnt DQ ya. Woulda scored it higher without it anyway. The rest of the processing I like.
