A wedding I shot November 10 - my shooting partner Eunice and I had scoped out various night-time locations before the wedding and were vary happy when these two agreed to go here. It was a little out of the way and a shot like this is kind of hard to explain - we were glad they trusted us. Credit for this image also goes to my shooting partner Eunice Montenegro who thought of the idea. This shot was both easy and difficult since I didn't use any flash and I just set the camera up on a tripod with a remote trigger. However, the street was very close to this wall and I had to be positioned across the street and wait for cars to move past the camera before I could click, all while yelling (into the wind) directions to the couple. They were great sports though and were very happy with their pictures. I didn't do much to this image, except a little bit of dodging and burning and straightening the road and cropping - then turning into B&W.

I love how she's looking in a different direction, even though he is looking at her. Perfect composition, lighting and poses. But mostly this image speaks to me of time, people, how we spend our lives and how others are an integral part of it... very "deep" image... 10 from me, as well as my pick for blue.

Wonderful use of their figures, and the flowers add a nice balance point to compare and contrast them.

Very cool interesting shot. I love that she's not looking at him - makes it more fun somehow. Back to bump you up to 9. Adding to favorites.

I love this! I personally would have left out the bouquet on the ground, but I get that it is an editorial addition. Great use of found light. Very sweet shot. 9 from me.

Usually I skip wedding shots... but this 1 is so different it caught my attention. I love the whole concept! Having the groom and the bride under a spotlight was a genius touch, gave this a whol new dimension their poses are great too, there's nothing not to like about this...

This is an interesting shot... I really like the look of it and the use of light. though I don't know what to make of this on the conceptual level. If I were to just look at her I'd get the impression that she was lost and confused, possibly ran from the wedding or had her fiancee run from her. But then having him in the photo looking at her adds a strange dynamic that throws my scenario out the window... perhaps if he were looking upset if would have made more sense...
