Thanks all for the comments and YES - my first ribbon and first +7.

It was a magic day with a magic light. No wind, 10 degrees (C) below, the haze is just rising from the forets in the background.

Peter - Fabulous work here. Congrats on the Red. The blowing snow, the shadows on the snow drifts, and the pines in the back all work so magically together.

As I see from other photos of that same day, you had a pretty good light day. I think it is one we photographers all dream of. Now...If we can just figure out when these are going to happen in advance!

the blue looks like its bleeding in the foreground, a more subtle use of colour would have helped i think.

I love the soft diffusion of light, but it seems like too much of this image is behind a haze. I like layers of haze because there's a great contrast between what is in focus and what is hazy, but here the haze effect is overwhelming. Overall, well composed--6
