A banana leaf illuminated with a flash light.

Another RED :)

I honestly did'nt expect this to come close to ribbon as I was only trying out the macro lens. I've had it only a couple of weeks. Thanks all for your constructive comments. Very encouraging :)

Like the blue, this is a droplet shot that goes beyond the stereotypical. The image is positively luminous. Congrats on your ribbon!

One of the few to really nail the challenge (I shot for the challenge, couldn't get the results needed, and so didn't enter - i wish otheres had done the same!) I do like the diagonal composition and play of light.

I found this challenge particularly in determing the difference between foreground bokeh and just obstructing the view in the front. I think your photo does a great job of illustrating the bokeh side of this

7 - Ah, yes. You managed to get 'both' bokeh. Well done. Colors are nice, although look slightly unnatural, but I think this is because of the blue reflected in the drops. Nice image.edit:typo

The brighter color in the background really sets this off

The out of focus technique is in the background as well..

nice composition and colors, great capture. however the background bokeh competes too strongly with the foreground bokeh which was the topic.
