| This would be more standout 'Texturally' if it was a single rope with a surrounding background. |

| Very good on the sense of feel. I'd maybe suggest that the light is touch too even - that you've filled a little too far and removed any sense of the dramatic from the image by that. Minor point though. |

| Rope is a texture cliche IMHO - seen it so many times and quite boring to photograph. |

| This looks like one of the three rope pictures submitted in the last textures challenge. Unoriginal, I would've tried a different approach with the rope to make it my own. |

| We were promised rope in this Challenge, and you obliged very nicely! Good rendition, beautifully focused. Would have been extra special if there was some little bit of contrasting color in there someplace, but still very nice. |
