| This certainly meets the “texture” part of the challenge, but, it could use a single point of interest to make good use of that interesting texture as background. |

| Really good job placing the rope, it's nice and precise. Blur your eyes, see the two complete hilights on each one? I would have framed the picture about 5% lower, to center those hilights. I like it! |

| Nice closeup of the rope. You can see the individual weave of the each strand. The highlights helps to give a sense of the smoothness of the strands themselves. Would like to see a bit more shadow to really make it pop. Maybe try lighting from a more extreme angle. |

| Great exposure. I love the color of the yellow. It might have been interesting to add something of a contrasting color and/or texture in the picture as a focal point. |

| Sparkling effect of direct light (flash?) is quite pretty, and gives a sense of shininess, but I think the addition of some kind of side-light would add a sense of depth and therefore a more convincing sense of texture. Good rhythmic composition, no distractions. |

| Nice texture. I like how the light reflects off the rope in some places. That makes it interesting to me. Had it all be uniform and all the same color, I don't think this would hold as much interest for me. looks like waves. I like the color and your focus and clarity are really nice as well. great shot for the challenge. ~Heather~ |

| Very cool photo. Colors are great ...texture, also very nice. The bright spots are a bit disturbing...but a nice photo that meets the challenge very well. |

| I expected a lot of rope shots, but I gotta admit I like this one. I think the lighting makes it strong. Border is a bit overwhelming. |
