Warm colors ! I like the orientation because it takes a bit more to know what it is ! Congrats !

Very rich warm lighting, which really brings out the subject matter. I don't know why but I think I like this better when rotated into a portrait orientation though it works very well as it is.

Nicely observed and shot.

For textures this subtle, you need more creative lighting to bring them out. THis appears tto be very flat.

I think a different angle or perspective would have made this much more interesting. The centered composition, as well as the straight horizontal makes it seem static.

I would have liked this better rotated.

I like the wood/rust contrast while still keeping the colors similar. Might look better rotated 90 degrees.

Nice composition (border adds a pleasing boundary) and the center placement of the hinge works. To make this solid shot work better for me, I'l like a bit more lighting and a closer look at both the rust and the wood.

Putting the hinge at a 30-50 degree angle would make this better. Nice texture but a little sharpening would also help.

Good color and good impact from the hinge nicely placed in the composition. Subtle and good.

I wish the compozition wouldn't be so horizontal, nice textures otherways.

I see the texture, but the subject and composition don't hold my interest. I think the black border is too much with this photo.

the angle is kinda boring.

Very satisfying colours, good light. Just a touch, well, dull as far as subject goes? That colour and texture alone aren't quite enough to bring this into the realm of the extraordinary. Nevertheless, a solid entry - way above most. 6
