People who said this DNMC need to pull their heads out of their...

Yeah. Amazing shot. I thought someone had just taken a pic of the poster when I looked at the thumbnail. Curious as to how you did the soap.

Very Cool-- I would have never thought of recreating fight club, love the expression in the background-- 9.5 okay 10

Pretty fun image, I think if it was a bit more gritty it would have been a lot stronger. To me, it just seems to smooth and clean.
11/11/2007 12:27:16 PM
Hit the nail on the head! Great lighting, great models it captures the gritty look the movie had... NICE!
11/10/2007 11:06:24 PM
Props for making the soap. yourself.
11/09/2007 06:25:16 PM
Bumping up, expect to see this in the top 3. Good luck.

OK, already voted on this, but back to comment.

A great reproduction of the one-sheet for this film. I reckon some are going to vote you down as this doesnt represent a scene, but in this case it is so well done I can't help but vote it high. It was always going to be hard to replicate this as the two protagonists from the film are so distinctive looking, but you have captured the vibe here so the fact that the models dont look like Pitt & Norton is easy to loverlook, although the Norton guy actually has nailed the sirk from the original poster.. brilliant idea, brilliantly executed. well done. bumping to 9

I didn't see the movie, so maybe the green is intentional?
11/07/2007 03:22:08 PM
Awesome work! Very well done with every little bit of detail!

Great movie, and a great tribute shot for this movie. Well done!
11/07/2007 09:13:37 AM
I saw that movie but can't quite remember that much about it. I like the harsh lighting and the expressions of the two guys. Wouldn't it have worked a touch better if one of them had a beaten face? Hmmm - just talking out loud.
11/07/2007 08:19:00 AM
Some might argue that this isn't a "scene", but i think you nailed what you were going for. The expressions and colors are PERFECT!
11/07/2007 07:18:40 AM
Holy shit labuda! love this shot. Lighting is so good!. My brother's expression is excellent! so is is your though. how did you do the soap?

edit: i think you might get the blue for this. Nothing else beats this shot...in my opinion anyways.
11/07/2007 01:39:48 AM
the first rule of fight club is that you don't talk about fight club... your in trouble! Great take on the challenge and well executed!
11/06/2007 01:29:20 PM
A cool image - never saw the movie but it does give the impression of 'cool guys acting tough'. I like the smirk on the guy in the back - nice touch
11/06/2007 01:09:29 PM
This is the movie poster, not a scene so your gong to get hammered for that by the DNMC nuts. However - you are SPOT on. Even the colors in the kick light are perfect. You even nailed Edward Nortons expression. The only thing that is missing is the concrete in the background. Good job, this one of my top three.
11/06/2007 12:23:37 PM
great lighting and composition. I wish the guy in the back did not smile...

Edit: I take my critique back. I just looked up the poster, and Ed Norton is smiling there indeed. Sorry! :)

11/05/2007 11:04:10 PM
Not bad.
11/05/2007 08:44:19 PM
I had thought about doing this one myself. Good execution!
11/05/2007 05:26:31 PM
Not bad at all! You've even got the lighting.
11/05/2007 04:12:06 PM
I like the lighting and a nice idea. The green on the nose is slightly distracting.
11/05/2007 12:47:48 PM
wowwwww, good!!
11/05/2007 11:43:01 AM
Just like the movie, this shot is right on the money. Great composition and lighting. Expressions are perfect, and the editing is spot on. Great job.
11/05/2007 10:56:03 AM
This is a good shot, but I rated it low as the callenge was to recreate a scene in a movie, not recreate the dvd cover. Now if you two would've beat the crap out of each other and shoot that, it would've worked.
11/05/2007 09:35:31 AM
aWesomE!
11/05/2007 09:01:23 AM
Nice set up, of course they don't look like them, but hey, if everyone looked like Brad Pitt, what a boring world this would be! Great job on the whole image, 9.
11/05/2007 06:47:30 AM
WOW that's pretty damn close. 10 from me.
11/05/2007 06:45:41 AM
best representation of a movie so here IMO. well done. You got my only 10.
11/05/2007 01:45:08 AM

11/05/2007 01:25:41 AM

11/05/2007 12:24:12 AM
Great re-take, I must say, I have to give you my second 9. Where or how did you write fight club on the soap?
