 I based this image on a scene in the movie where people were anonymously 'mask' kissing as a buildup to a very erotic climax. Using the manequin head was a deliberate and more appealing approach for me as it enhanced the idea of an androgynous participant. I found it interesting that some assumed that the manequin was male while others felt it was feminine. Tells alot about how we view things. Anyway... the image was intended to be a little deeper than a masked female and a masked dummy head. Some got it and some didn't and that's understandable when artistic impression is attempted here. Yes I took a litte licence with the theme of the challenge by altering the players a bit but I'm happy with the outcome and thanks for the nice comments.

It's amazing how many people just don't get it. Just amazing. Awesome attention to detail, and the mannequin head makes a statement of anonymity... and wasn't that the point of it all?

Great picture. Great movie. I like your explanation for the use of the foam head; I think it's a great idea to try to suggest uncertainty about gender. But it didn't actually work for me in this case because I still see a foam head. Maybe you should just do one of two masked women kissing? Ok, PLEASE!!! ;-)

This would have been a 10 from me . . but have you seen the state of his face ? lol. Personally I would have preferred it to be another 'real' person.

Still get a 9 and hopefully a ribbon. Very nice.

Great composition, and bold use of color. I don't don't remember a specific scene with a mask on a mannequin, but I'll give you the benefit of doubt.

Fantastic balance of this image - almost a mirror image. The mouth just ajar works so well to provide just the needed erotisism to the image
