 My husband's 2007 pumpkin carving effort. My neighbors have a motion-sensitive spotlight conveniently pointed at my porch, which lit the top of the pumpkin nicely. Dragged out the tripod and did a long exposure from an angle I liked, since it showed a bit of background foliage and still had enough detail to see what he carved. Maybe not an exciting shot but my husband was pleased ;-)

PP - converted from RAW, rotated slightly, cropped, levels, burnt a little of the porch, increased saturation, USM, resized, sharpened.
