This is my kinda shot. I like shooting odd things like this and I have a thing for concertina wire (especially down here - there is quite an abundance of the stuff!) Not something that will do well in a Free Study due to limited audience appeal. It's not a sunset or a pretty girl, and it doesn't have a main, easily defined "subject". The comment regarding lack of depth has some merit as far as this particular composition is concerned - and of course you could always dress it up a bit with vignettes, dodging, burning etc. Or you could acidize it or grunge it. Or you could leave it as is and be pleased with what you saw and captured, and understand that it won't appeal to the masses - but that it's a good shot just the same!

Once again, I didn't agree with many of the other voters. I gave this a 7. I like the composition, colors, and textures.

I like the urban 'grungy' feel to the top 2/3's of this picture - but the red brick wall just looks to clean and neat to finish the picture off for me.

Good to see something so different though.

this image seems too flat for me, maybe you could have gotten closer to the barbed wire and did a macro for more depth
