| One of my favorites of the challenge and probably the best photo showing the texture of wood. Nice different tones on the wood, the angles, shape and that color in the background bring this photo all together. |

| Love the light through that gap, and the shaping and leaning of the trees. get a stronger sense of patterning and form, rather than the immediacy of texture, but it remains a good assured photograph. excellently composed too, there's good motion in it. |

| My eye loves this photo . The picture s you see within the wood, light in the background drawing you in all makes for a great photo |

| What great light and well seen for texture. Looks like the DOF has made the image with no obvious point of sharpest focus where IMHO the whole of the trunk/branch should have been pin sharp ~ 8 |

| Has the look of the caves or canyons in arizona. Very nice effect. Lighting really makes this shot. Very nice! |
