"
Like a wisp of smoke
We seem to fade away
It all used to be so clear
Bold lines you knew not to cross
No longer can I see black and white
All I see if shades of grey
I know on cloudy days
The sun hides away
For me these days are cold
And these days are dark
These days are like a storm
Gathering up to fury in my heart "

Personally I think this fits the challenge, but I thought my rainbow entry fit the challenge but tons of people couldn't seem to see a rainbow in the clear red orange green blue and purple colors in the image....so I could be wrong.

This is smoke, and I learned from this shoot and getting a good shape before the smoke all disperses is REALLY tough, but I am very satisfied with how this turned out. This is the beginning of the end of the shapes smoke makes, I hope this does well

I was inspired by this tutorial
and used similar editing steps, i lit this with one of my alien bees lights

The dual colors came about relatively naturally, in my original shot some of the smoke was white and some was blue, so when that was inverted it turned into a dichotomy between a yellowish color and a blue, I messed with the hue and color balance to bring out the difference between the two colors throughout. I then made a layer that was more red and one that was more purple and I used the eraser tool at a really really large radius and about 50% opacity to erase the top corner, exposing a little more red. The rest is pretty much in the tutorial

Really awesome, great white background, and awesome colors, one of the best smoke shots i have seen on the site, added to faves.

Very neat shot. I like the tones as they contrast well with the stark background.
