very nice shot.. i think the blue cast on the mountains looks a little wierd though... warming filter may help some with that :) - setzler

Wonderful perspective shot. I like the brown fence against the green grass with the purple/blue background. Beautiful.

All I can say is WOW! That's a beautiful landscape, and the way you composed the fence into the photo is just amazing. 10 - lisae

My wife & I both agree that the fence leads the eye into a wonderful picture. It almost invites: "Come, follow me."

very beautiful, the meadow and the mountains in the background, just lovely. 8--shutterfly

This looks like two separate pictures...one on the top of the mountains in the background with the top of the hill and fence in the foreground...and then a picture of a hilly field with a fence. IT's a really difficult picture to look at because of the spacial differences.

Nice lines, and rich colors and sharpness. This is a tough catch... I know! I've tried it from Longmont!

Nice 'corner'...I like.

Very beautiful. I would have cropped it so the fence ends in the midle bottom of the page rather than the right corner.

Very nice.

the light do not help

a little more sky, a little less fence, but otherwise good.

I used to live in fort collins -- this made me miss it a bit (which I didn't think was possible)! I think that means you've captured the feel of the area beautifully. love the fence + the progression of colors from the reddish fence to the gold grass to the blue mountains.

good perspective and nice place too, good luck

Beautiful color. The fence leads my eyes through the entire picture. I think it may look even better if the fence wasn't so much in the middle of the photo.

A real country shot. JEM

Very nice! I love the color, and I love how the fence creates a diagonal as well as 1 point perspective :) Beautiful

I love the colors and the different textures, and the minimal trace of sky. I wish the fence would not have ended in the center of the image. 6 sjgleah

I miss Boulder ! I lived there and in Lakewood a year. Such a beautiful place!!! GREAT capture and thanks for the memory !

beautiful. I wish that you could somehow use the fence to lead directly INTO the mountain instead of stopping abruptly in the middle. I love Boulder every time I drive to the RMNP. 9 paganini

This is a great shot in one of my favorite places. I love the fence and the way it trails off. Super job, top 5 in my book. DPz

Beeeaaauuuutiful scenery!
09/23/2002 04:04:00 PM
and that is the perfect way to shoot a fence...bravo
09/23/2002 01:44:00 PM
Nice shot. A crop at the ridge where the main fence disappears would have scored an 8 from me. 6 Jak

Wonderful perspective and color. I know Colorado well, my family lived and lives there, my brother when to CU. Very good shot, really enjoyed it. Score 7 Justine
