OK OK I know it is not real, but it could be if you have a vivid imagination!!!

This is the view from outside my office window at the moment as they are relaying pipes on Hatton Garden

A lorry (truck) almost backed into the hole in the road today, which would have been sooooo fantastic in terms of a photo (obviously less good for the driver) but sadly (for me) at the last minute he averted catastrophe

Post challenge

Woot!!!! My first ever 6+ and almost a top ten finish. Thank you to everyone for the very kind comments and I hope the fact that there wasnt really an earthquake did not irk you

Just to explain the title, De La Rosa is a pitcher for the KC Royals, but he also sounds like a place where an earthquake might happen. I was originally going to put London but then it was suggested that everyone would know there had not been a quake in London...A tip which I am sure helped get me my new PB

Sometimes the very best photographs tease us into believing something is different. This is no exception. Great shot and terrific finish!

Jon - Awesome image - clearly in the top of the class for this challenge. Wonderful lines and balance - i love the two groups of women getting ready to pass each other.

Very sneaky! A photo twisted by the headlines. You had me fooled! I guess if I had looked close enough, I would have recognized the street lamp there lol. Great catch and great title (but I think I would have amped up the richter scale a bit lol). Congrats on the great score, the top 20, and your new personal best!

hehe this sort of made me think of the crack in the floor someone installed in the Tate Modern as a work of art.

Nice POV but I don't think it has the impact to be illustrating a front cover story.
