| I'm not sure why you would use such a thick border and make your photo smaller. Good idea but can't really tell where the battle is apart from a flag. |

| Interesting effect with smoke/haze; it adds to the feel of the scene but obscures the "battle" in the distance. I might crop out about 10% at left and top. |

| This is a very beautiful picture. Wonderful subtle colors. Nice soft light. Composition good. In another category I think it could have been an 8 or 9. |
