*Greetings from the Critique Club*
Wow, I feel EXTREMELY unworthy to critique this shot.
First Impressions:
WOW!! This was my personal favorite in the challenge. The reason is that I believe that the wind element was probably the hardest one to capture and look well. Let's just say you went well beyond the call of duty their.
Composition:
Okay, there is only 1, just 1 thing I would do to maybe make this shot better than in already is, and that would be to include more of the pinwheel. But in all reality, that is such a minor technicality in this beautiful shot. I LOVE the blurring of the pinwheel, gives the sense of wind motion, and that fits the challenge extremely well. Personally, I love the center of the pinwheel and how it's in focus in contrast to the spinning wheels. The clouds also add a lot to this shot by adding more emphasis on wind. plus the white helps the balance a lot. The colors are phenomenal and I like how the colors works with the sky, it just works so well. The lighting is absolutely perfect, it really makes that wood stand out.
Other:
I can't get over how well this shot was captured, picture perfect. If I had it my way, this shot would have ribboned. This is definetely a shot you should feel proud of. Good luck and I look forward to seeing some of your future work!

| Looks great! Love the color but agree with the placement. It's just missing a little something that, if you had it, would have put it over the top. Maybe you cropped a little too much and should have left more of the pinwheel in the photo. Try again for kicks. I'd like to see what you come up with. |

| This would make a good stock photo - very effective. Up against the moody shots this may not fair so well, but you should be pleased with the shot anyway - it's uplifting, proficient and very well taken. My only crit is the movement in the clouds. I think these should be static or a pure blue sky. |

| Wonderful abstract feel and conveys so much more than just the concept of wind - it takes me back to summer days on the beach running around with similar whirly wind powered toys and I can even feel the sun and wind on my skin. I like the angle of the spindle, the amount of motion blur compared to the amount of discernable detail and I like the way the blue sky is broken up the fluffy white cloud. |

| Its out of focus. Maybe if you buy a fast lens and a dlsr camera you could get a faster shutter speed to stop all this blur that is making it out of focus. i think the lens that comes on the drebel would probably do the trick :) Is this time lapse photography? ;) |
