I was wondering what could be taken as an interesting point of view for this challenge and decided to shot my own eye looking to the building nearby my window. It was around 5pm and the sky was very cloudy. I think the photo could be better if I had a nice blue sky on a sunny day, but after the photo has been taken, started to rain, and forecast is rain, rain, rain for the next days.
This is the second time I experiment with RAW files in my life, and I'm completing almost 1 month with my camera now... Anyway I hope I get well on this challenge. I used the software that came with my camera, Silkpix Developer to do the RAW adjustments. I've made some simple RAW adjustments, then adjusted something more on Paint Shop Pro X2.
The only defect that I see on this image is some noise that is present on the shadow on the top of the white part of my eye. This noise was present at the original photo, but since I was alone I could not handle another light source, pose and take the shot at the same time. I think if I had some additional light I could remove that shadow. To comply with basic editing rules, I could not blur that part of the eye to make it softer.
I hope the voters don't notice this noise and give me good scores. I really hope I get better than the last challenge (my first one), where I got 5.7
