Interesting. This has potential, but framing/cropping issues really bug me - the right side of the roof of the church disappears behind the entry roof, the right side of the entry roof disappears just outside the frame, the ? on the lower right is odd, the rock in the foreground is too centered on the stones behind it for me - also the modern buildings peeking up destroy the purity of the whole...

The foreground out of focus also bugs me a bit since there is no real need for limited DOF, except maybe the footprints...

Beautiful place. Only nits are the fuzzy whatsit in the LRHC, and the lack of detail on the front of the tower. Gamma to 1.1 would probably clear that right up. This your house?

Beautiful spot. Composition could be improved by cropping off the top couple of inches. Try it.

What a neat place! Good depth. My favorite

Geez, they just keep getting better and better. Very nice and easy on the eye.

I like this shot, good composition and focus, nice contrast of colors too. The only thing that detracts for me is the stark white of the upper sky, I would have cropped right above the cross.

I like the weather situation in this photograph... Would love to see a summer view as well...

Still architecture, even in 2002. Love the snow and the sky.

Too dark.

Beautiful colors and great detail.

amazing color....

maybe crouching a litle bit lower would have hidden the red barn ? Nice atmospheric shot - but imagine if you could have got the sun hitting the cross! But then you'd be Ansel Adams so...

gorgeous!

good composition.

I know it must have been hard trying to frame this photo, but the red roof in the back ground really take away the overall photo. I find my eyes going right to it.

wow!
04/01/2002 06:49:00 PM
Thats a cool pic.
04/01/2002 06:40:00 PM
Good definition. Nice color contrasts.
04/01/2002 05:45:00 PM
Ahh, nice colors. Angle could've been moved down a bit to get more of the ground and less of the sky?
04/01/2002 03:04:00 PM
Very nice. The cloud cover sets off the thatched roof just right.
04/01/2002 02:33:00 PM
good interesting shot

a bit dark; great subject; I love the sky-although the cross gets a bit lost in it; there's perhaps too much going on-the house, the rock, the gazebo, the red roof, the sky and the footprints
04/01/2002 11:14:00 AM
this is really eerie. i love the gradient on the sky.
04/01/2002 09:11:00 AM
I really enjoyed this shot!

very cool pic. nice contrast with the other skyscrapers and stuff.
04/01/2002 02:09:00 AM
Awe-inspiring how the clouds are perfectly white above, matching with the snow.
04/01/2002 01:18:00 AM
Oh no, not another cross... =)

This looks so good, nice and soft, fantastic colors... even the tracks in the snow... wow! Why did you leave the little dark bit in the bottom right corner? Does it make the roof of the building look funny when cropped? :)
