| I love the dreamy composition of this! It's beautiful and so interesting the way the thorns rise up out of the flowers. I'm always drawn to white on white photos too! If you have this one posted here, you must have a ribbon winner for sure for the flora challenge. |

| This works on a couple of levels. You mentioned the smooth petals and thorns, but there's also contrast between stem with thorns and petals. |

Nicely composed using the diagonal of the stem. Great detail on the sharp thorns, and effective depth of field to showcase the contrasting softness of the flowers. Lovely in b&w. :)

| So true. Too bad we can't pick the parts we like best and get rid of the rest. Just doesn't seen to work that way. I like the soft focus and muted tones (not unlike life). |
