Native American Children in Winslow, Arizona. Did a little post-processing that had a feel for the heritage....it will either fail miserably or (hopefully) people will like it.

I think this was a very good idea for a group portrait. You have captured a distinct group of people whose unique identity is getting diluted all the time and this is reflected in their appearence with some ethnic items that they choose to wear and still hold onto and the rest simply becoming western type dress.

don't like the effect applied

What type of effect was done over the top of the photo? I think the photo would have been good enough to stand on its own.

what are those dark gray strokes? whatever they are ,the image is kind of ruined by them...

Pretty good shot.

I don't like the composition nor the harsh lighting. That photoshop technique you did I don't understand at all. I can't even explain it and I don't understand how or what it adds to the photo.

Sorry, I don't get it. Try again.

(cute kids tho)

The overlaid textures detract from the image.

Not sure if it's a treatment or an overlay...but it's different. Not sure if I like it. It does give the photograph a more "drawing" rather than "photo" feel, but I keep wanting to see the facial details more. It almost seems to must e the colors a bit too much IMO. This is a very different idea. 6

To me the pattern made it difficult to focus on the children, maybe tone it down a bit more?

Gee fantastic PP which gives this a great aged appearance. It feels like a picture that you might find between the pages of an antique book 7

Nice composition and capture, but I'm trying to figure out if it's make-up or a PP filter that is mottling the skin and everything. I think it would be much better without alteration.

Good effect. I'm not sure if it works for this or not. I'd like to see it some other ways.

what is going on in the top layer? I think it kida takes away from the photo a bit. Maybe you shouldnt have put it over their faces.

Whatever filter you used ruined this for me. Makes it look like a bad color photocopy instead of thelovely portrait it could have been.

I think the picture is quite okay, but you messed up in postprocessing. Whatever it is you dit to the picture, I do not like it. (4)

Love the shot! I don't care for the grunge layer but other than that it is beautiful.

The after effect on this photo distracts from the photo in my mind.

the effect isn't helping here. Good color and sunject matter though

I'm not sure about the filters or brushes here - I think it's a good shot on it's own without that.

Meets the challenge but a little too much PP on this.

In this case the processing detracts from the image. I would have liked to see the faces clearer but the effect gets in the way.
