| Good idea and lighting. The tiny scratches on the surface are distracting a bit and the apple is a little bit too soft, but I like the mysterious feel in this composition. 7. |

Bravo! You are one of the few who actually used shadow to create half an object. This is so much more creative and imaginative than merely cutting an object in half with the camera which is what most of the others did and I am tired of viewing those unimaginative and boring entries.
On the other hand, yours is worth a 10. |

| Very good except for on thing. I don't like the blue surface the apple is sitting on, it doesn't complement the green very well 7 nonetheless |

| This is really artfully done. I like the centering, which I normally don't. The light play is excellent. I think the beige border is a touch too severe. I'd have done it at a lesser opacity and only 1 pixel if at all. Otherwise, the shot is GREAT |

| this has great technicals but it is just a picture of an apple. putting it in the center leaves the eye no where to go. this would be good stock art I guess but as a general photograph it looks stagnant to me |

| Definitely one of my favorites of the challenge. The simplicity of colors and shadows is great! |
