This was inspired by the photo, Escape, by Dave Nitsche.

Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. I wish I could take credit for being creative but that part goes to Nitsche, whom I recently read about in PBase mag.

Congrats on your second highest score! Inspired by Nitsche maybe but delivered impeccably by you! This was one of a few stand out shots for me in the challenge. Part of the beauty is in the way you have made what must have been quite a tricky set up look so simple and minimalist

Love the way you have kept the tape spool so tight and that there are no blemishes on the s -curve

Terrific job, many congratulations

People still have those things? hehe

Man you are on a roll, congrats on your second best! Great lighting, no reflection on the cassette at all. Very cool idea.

Great studio shot with reflection. Are there any cassettes still out there? Hahaha. Just a touch of the tape is lost in a couple a spots but I love the shot.

Inspired by the work of Dave Nitsche perhaps? I like the shot, but it does seem a tad bit dark.

if you had placed the two items the other way round (cassette bottom left, spool top right) this could have been a winner
