 i tried a few ideas with this challenge after not wanting to go in any for a while coz of getting woeful scores in bokeh and motivational poster.. but because i cant help myself i had to try for soft focus ..
firstly i went for flowers, but a good friend in dpc said there'd be like mega flower photographs in this one, so rather than get lost in the masses of flowers i decided to try a bee instead .. this is the flower ..

i went for a walk on the firetrail thinking bees instead of flowers .. i took a whole heap but wasnt really happy with any of them when converted to a soft focus image .. this is one of the bees ..

then yesterday morning the builder noticed a frog on the ground .. an ugly frog and not dpc friendly at all .. i tried everything to make it look windswept and interesting but failed miserably .. the fact that it had no hair wouldnt have helped .. oh so lame !!! .. anyway i had decided to put this one in only because i'm totally over flowers and bees .. last night i thought i might get a 6 possibly, but this morning i'm thinking more like a 5.2 ..

so a couple of hours before the challenge i did a total reprocess on this photograph that i'd put in our b&w side overnight .. i didnt think it would work as a soft focus but i change my mind .. i'm hoping for a 6+ on this one .. but of course i want the voters to give me MORE !!! ..

I hate you!!!! A couple of weeks ago I took some photos of frogs which I truly beleived were the best ever to be taken of our amphibian buddies and then I see this and I realise that you just blew my efforts away

Great that you got a 6+ but deserved even more
