| Very nice, but I think I prefer Ursula's because of the added contrast caused by the dark strips from overlapping petals. Nevertheless, good work and congrats on the ribbon. |

| After viewing the original, I like this one better. The two are very similar and I applaud you for making almost and exact copy. I love that this flower is a little more open. Over all it it a very well executed photo. |

There's a couple of things I like about the original a bit more, but this is a great copy. The strong blue triangle in the original keeps the composition flowing more, along with the overall better sharpness and selective focus that again keeps my eye moving around.
I think you did a great job recreating the general style and feel of the shot though. |

I found out this week how hard it is to mimic someone else's work, and finished it a week too late to even enter. You did a fantastic job emulating one of my favorite images on this site. Congrats on number 20!

| That's a hell of a replica. Great work! Where you fall a little short of hers is in that green fringing on the petals top right. I like the light on the stem on yours, though, I think :-) |

| I absolutely love the colors captured here. The hues on that poppy really do pop off the page. You did a great job emulating Ursula's piece. The hues of orange and yellow are bold & vibrant yet I can almost 'feel" the petal softness as I gaze upon this composition. The bit of blue and green the peek through is the perfect complimentry background for this flower. |
