I didn't get a chance to comment on this series... but this shot really stood out as, by far, my favorite! It has an emotional value thta most of the photos above you lack.
This is a fantastic image! CONGRATS!!

This is one of the (if not THE) best photographs I have seen on this site. Some day I am going to ask you for a print of this. |

Congrats on an excellent piece of work...I`m apologising for my remarks about the noise as I have realised it was an element of the overall picture...(just not experienced enough to appreciate these things yet).
Well done.

Great showing. Reading your comments on the photo was as delightful as the the photo itself. I can just picture you running back and forth in the cold, trying not to make footprints while avoiding the motion sensor and getting sick in the process. I think the effort was well worth it as this is one of my favorite photos in the challenge. I agree about the footprints. You should make an edited version where you clone them out. |

This is way too good and way too funny. I originally marked this with a 8, but I'm afraid it's going to have to go to 10. Keep up the good work. |

Hey honey come to the window, there`s a crazy man sitting outside on a chair in the middle of the road with a suitcase.
Don`t talk nonesense dear, you really must go easy on that whiskey.
10 for letting go of your senses. |

What a great composition. Seems like you had perfect timing for this shot. Bet your neighbors thought you were a tad bit nutty though. :) I love this, just makes me think "What's he doing there, What's he waiting for" Very cool. A little noisy/grainy but I think it adds to the feel of the picture, perhaps it was intended. |

I really like the color cast to this photo. Great idea. You know its sad and funny at the same time. Also what you are letting go is not totally clear. That's a good thing because it lets me the viewer read into it what if feel. |

I keep coming back to this shot. I don't know exactly why. There's just something about it that makes me want to take another look. It is such an interesting photo. The sepia and graininess really work here and I like that light shining so brightly in the distance. I think what really makes this shot outstanding though is the straightness of the tire tracks in the snow and the fact that your model (you?) walked to your chair keeping as much on those tracks as is humanly possible, trying hard not to disrupt those clean lines. Additionally, the dark sky against the white ground is an interesting change of perspective since one usually sees the sky as brighter than the ground. Adding the suitcase was the perfect touch. I originally gave you an 8, but I'm bumping this up to a 10 just because it works on so many levels for me. Good luck. |

I love it... I like everything about this photo. I think it would be even stronger as a straight b/w. The toning here possibly implies some amount of 'warmth' rather than a harsh cold to go along with the environment. If you would like to play with toning that would support the theme of this photo, u may wanna try some blues... excellent work :) |

This is a really cool photo. I'm not even sure why I like it! I like the pose, like the lighting. I think it's because someone actually sat in the middle of the street for this shot (probably pretty late), and I can just envision the neighbors...."What in the world are they doing out there?" |

Using "Neat Image" to take the noise out of the sky would have added to the image overall....8 |
