The glasses shots have been done many times and i will confess to being quite bored with them. However, given the challenge brief this does have purpose and it's well photographed.
One flaw though is the composition which is too centred for my taste. I feel it would have been better balanced to show more of the left side and reduce to dominant shape on the right. Dark areas are little too burned too. |

Very clever. Lighting is moody and interesting. Nifty shot! 9 |

The DOF, lighting and subject are superb. I like the glasses creating a frame. I do think b/w would work better and add more contrast and wow to it. This is a GREAT photo ! |

This is almost exactly like a picture in a previous challenge but it's still a good idea. :) |

This kind of shot is becoming a new cliche on dpc (glasses are the new cats, if you will... :-) ), but this is a good example and definitely meets the challenge. Good choice of passage, too, good composition and the sepia tone definitely adds something. |

Clever use of the glasses to define the area of sharp focus. |

Nothing wrong with this shot at all. I just find it a bit unoriginal, it's been done so often. I don't mark down for that, just tossing it out. The shot is good. |

I've seen this same sort of photo in nearly every challenge. You did a great job, and I'm giving you an 8. Still, this shot is becoming a cliche'. |

An image similar to many we've seen time and again, but that doesn't stop it from being executed in a perfect manner. Beautiful image. 10 |

The idea with the glasses on top of a book is getting rather tired. Great execution though, and a nice sepia feel to it. 6 |
