 This is downtown Erie PA. The city has some polarization to it, much like other cities ... but is heavy on mediocrity. This image is beautiful to me yet has ugly elements and strange symbols.

It almost looks like it's one scene, but the varying angles give this and different shadow directions give this a very bizarre effect. I like it, it's out of the ordinary and kind of messes with you at the same time.

Superb! I agree with your title, really interesting to see how these eight people are all alone. Very strong and powerful composition.
