 I'm going to get nailed here, but I don't care. Shot taken with my dad's Sony Cybershot. Not what I had in mind for the impressionist challenge but I like the shot.

This reminds me so much of a Manet portrait. It is a sensuous, living image.

Perhaps too tight a crop; sorry! but; I love the movement and the face; very well defined; the action is put forth but it the eyes stare. This harkens to the excellent portraits of the impressionist period, where a musician or dancer, or sailor was portrayed in their element. great.
