Trout Lake: The site of Glacier National Park's 1st bear fatality, and where we had to spend the night due to the impending darkness. Slept on top of my hatchet that night...

PP = grayscale > duotone > D & B'ing on the wood to make it stick out more > RGB > and lots of contrast work in curves and levels. USM, save4web.

Also, I would say that this has taken the status of being my favorite photo ever taken.

Gorgeous tones. I love how the branches in front look like they are going to reach right out of the picture. Interesting story to go with this too.
