I like how you have "framed" the shot with the tile. It is a good idea, but colorwise is kinda bland to me. Maybe if you had some of those blue chips, or had the dip in different color bowl, it would have a little more spark to it, for me.

A shot like this should be more appetizing! :) Perhaps a different color background and a more interesting angle than top-down would help.

the perspective and background are nicely done. the subject doesn't really draw my interest much though.

great idea lacks a bit of colour Maybe if the background was darker Red or green it would show this off better

oh man, i have so been there before. how many times has this consisted of my dinner? i'm a bit of a nachos and hummus fiend myself...

i like the composition and the angle - nice symetry with the tiles. the colors are a little flat - the green flecks in the dip are more than welcome - if you could have used a couple of the colored variety of nacho chips, like the red and green kind, it would have really punched up the image. this gets a strong 7 from me.

Kind of uninspiring. Needs some more work on arranging the shot. Maybe more and colorful chips arranged symmetrically in unmarred dip? Good idea and meets the challenge.

Would have preferred this photo with a darker background.

Clever title and nice composition. Good dof on the chips, monochromatic palette works

Red salsa, or a more colorful table surface would have improved your composition here. it is making me hungry.

Interesting pun. A boring photo, though. Forgive my honest reaction. 4

Not sure the over head view was the most appealing along with the white background. Not much contrast. I guess it just needs a bit more dof or a different background to jazz it up.
